Day Sixteen - Play Day!

Today started VERY early! We had a window cleaner arrive at our house at 6:30 this morning to clean the windows, so the kids had to get out of bed earlier than they probably wanted to. But that's ok, it gave them a chance to get an early breakfast and then go play. Gabby and Kanta also went out to the garden and pick some kohlrabi (コー ルラビ) - the garden is doing very well right now and some of the plants are ready to harvest, so they had fun picking vegetables.

Julie took Kanta, Gabby, and Kendall to the pool after lunch. It was a perfect day for the pool! No clouds, and the temperature was just right. They played at the pool for about 2 1/2 hours, and had fun swimming, jumping off of the diving boards, and sliding down the water slides. After they came home we had dinner and then went to a movie - Rise of the Planet of the Apes! It was entertaining, and we all started acting like monkeys after the movie. On the way home we drove through an automatic car wash, which was almost as entertaining as the movie :)
